Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and scrub sweet potatoes, then pat dry. Brush with oil, season with salt, and wrap in aluminum foil. Bake in an oven preheated at 400°F or over a medium-hot grill, about 1 hour.

Mix cream cheese with sour cream and season well with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Finely chop chives and stir half of them into cheese mixture.

3.

Cut bacon into thin strips and fry in a dry pan until crispy. To serve, open foil, slit potatoes lengthwise, fill with cheese mixture and sprinkle with bacon and remaining chives.
