- 1 big red onion
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 Tbsp Canola oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsps apple cider vinegar
- 120 grams cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped Fresh herbs (i.e parsley, chives, dill)
- salt
- peppers
- 4 Lettuce
- 2 Tomatoes
- ½ Zucchini
- 1 handful Sprout (i.e Alafalfa)
- 4 Bagel
Preparation steps

Peel the onion and cut into rings. Heat the butter and oil in a pan and cook the onions for 1-2 minutes over medium heat. Sugar with sprinkle and caramelize slightly. Deglaze with the vinegar for 3-4 minutes until soft. Allow to cool.

Mix the cream cheese with the lemon juice and herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Rinse the lettuce and shake dry. Rinse the tomatoes and remove the stalks. Cut into slices. Rinse the zucchini and cut into slices. Rinse the sprouts and drain. Cut the bagels in half. Spread the top and bottom with the cream cheese. Make a sandwich by layering the lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, onions and sprouts. Serve as desired.
