Preparation steps

1.

Peel and finely dice the onion. Rinse, trim, and finely dice the peppers. Rinse the cilantro and remove the leaves. Rinse one of the limes in hot water and pat dry. Remove the zest in strips. Julienne the zest and mix with the cilantro, peppers, and onion.

2.

Rinse the chili, remove the seeds, and coarsely chop. Halve the avocado, remove the seed, and cut into pieces. Add the avocado, chili, and buttermilk to a blender. Squeeze the juice from the limes. Add the lime juice and cilantro to the blender, and puree completely. If the smoothie is too thick, thin with a little cold water. Season to taste with salt, garnish with the vegetables, and serve.
