2 kilograms Pork ribs
3 Tbsps vegetable oil
2 onions
4 garlic cloves
4 centimeters fresh ginger
1 tsp Harissa
250 milliliters Beef broth
100 milliliters Orange juice
1 Tbsp brown sugar
100 milliliters soy sauce
salt
5 Star anise

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse ribs, pat dry and divide into portions. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in dutch oven, brown meat and remove.

Peel onions, garlic and ginger. Chop onions coarsely, slice garlic and ginger. Saute in remaining oil. Add harissa, broth and juice. Stir well. Add sugar, soy sauce, and star anise. Season with salt and return ribs to the dish. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
