- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 Red onion
- 50 grams raw Peanuts (blanched)
- 4 scallions
- 1 Red Thai chili
- 400 grams tan button Mushroom
- 4 Tbsps sesame oil
- 4 Lettuce
- 2 Tbsps Lime juice
- 3 Tbsps Thai Fish sauce
- Basil (for garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the garlic and the onion and finely chop. Chop the peanuts. Trim the scallions, rinse and cut into rolls. Trim, rinse and chop the chile. Clean and chop the mushrooms.

Heat the sesame oil in a pan. Cook mushrooms, garlic and onion while stirring until lightly browned. Add the peanuts and let the pan contents cool. In the meantime, rinse the lettuce leaves and shake dry.
3.
Season the mushroom salad with lime juice and fish sauce. Fold in scallions. Serve on lettuce leaves and garnish with basil strips. Serve with basmati rice.
