- 2 Tbsps Sesame seeds
- ¾ inch fresh ginger (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 scallions (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- cayenne pepper
- 4 cups Beef (rump or sirloin, cut into strips)
- 1 Cucumber (peeled, halved lengthways, deseeded and sliced)
- 2 Tbsps sesame oil

Preparation steps
1.
Toast the sesame seeds in the wok until they release their fragrance, then leave to cool.

Mix the sesame seeds with the ginger, garlic, spring onions, soy sauce, fish sauce and sugar. Season with cayenne pepper and mix through the strips of meat. Cover and leave in the refrigerator to marinate for around 1 hour.

Stir fry the meat in oil in the hot wok for 2-3 minutes. Add the cucumber slices and fry for a further 4-5 minutes until cooked. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper and serve.
