1 kilogram small Apple
1 lemon
100 grams dried Apricot
For the topping
500 grams Sour cream
3 eggs
50 grams sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
100 grams Marzipan
For the dough
150 grams butter
120 grams sugar
100 grams Marzipan
1 organic lemon
2 packets Bourbon vanilla powder
2 eggs
75 milliliters milk
300 grams Pastry flour
3 tsps Baking powder
For the garnish
50 grams slivered almonds
3 tsps powdered sugar

Preparation steps

For the filling: Peel apples, cut in half, remove core and cut apple halves like a fan. Drizzle with lemon juice. Mince apricots.

For the topping: Combine sour cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and marzipan.

For the dough: Combine Combine butter, sugar, marzipan, lemon zest and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Stir in eggs and milk. Combine flour and baking powder and fold into mixture.

Press dough into a baking sheet that has been greased with butter and dusted with flour. Press apples and apricots into dough and top with sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with almonds and bake in an oven preheated to 175°C (approximately 350°F) for about 50 minutes.

Remove and let cake cool on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with semi-whipped cream.
