Preparation steps
1.
Peel the apple, cut into slices, remove the core and finely dice. Peel the onion and finely chop.

In a small saucepan, heat 50g (about 3 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon) of butter and sauté the onion and apple cubes. Season with marjoram, salt and pepper.
3.
Rinse chives, trim, shake dry and bunch together to finely chop.
Mix the remaining softened butter with the apple and onion micture, and stir in the chives. Chill in a storage container or glass jar and refrigerate.
