500 grams Currants
500 grams Blackberry
2 Apple about 500 grams (approximately 17 ounces)
500 grams jam sugar
1 packet Citric acid 5 grams (approximately 1/5 ounce)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the currants and blackberries and remove any stems. Rinse the apples, peel, quarter, remove the cores and chop into small pieces.  

2.

Combine the currants, blackberries and apples with the jam sugar in a large bowl. Cover and let stand for 2 hours. 

3.

Transfer the mixture to a large saucepan and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the citric acid. 

4.

Ladle the jam into sterilized glass jars, seal tightly and turn upside down. Turn over after 5 minutes and allow to cool completely. Press the center of the lids to ensure a proper seal and store in a cool, dark place.
