Thanks to the sweetness from the fruit juices, the ice-cold refreshment does not contain any added sugar and is therefore a healthy alternative to purchased iced tea. The lemons also provide a good portion of immune-boosting vitamin C.

If you like, you can vary the basic recipe of the iced tea as you wish. If you like it more fruity, you can also use a fruit tea as a base instead of black tea. Apple and peach juice can also be exchanged for other fruit juices at will.

200 milliliters Apple juice
200 milliliters Peach Juice
1 sprig mint
2 handfuls Ice cubes

Preparation steps

1.

Add the tea to a pot and cover with 600 ml (approximately 20 ounces) of boiling water. Let steep for 3 minutes, then strain the liquid. Sweeten to taste and let cool.

Rinse one lemon in hot water and cut into wedges. Squeeze the juice from the second lemon. Mix the tea with the lemon juice, apple juice, and peach juice.

Remove the mint leaves from the stems. Divide the mint, lemon wedges, and ice cubes into glass. Pour the tea into the glasses and serve.
