Whole Grain Bread

- 500 grams Whole wheat flour
- 70 Kamut
- 1 Tbsp flaxseed
- 250 milliliters lukewarm water
- 1 cube Yeast
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for the pan)
- 2 Tbsps Oats
Preparation steps
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast with the sugar in the warm water until smooth.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the dough hook, mix the whole wheat flour, kamut, flaxseed and salt., Add the dissolved yeast and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. If necessary, add a little extra flour or water. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Butter a loaf pan.
Place the dough on a floured surface, knead and shape into a loaf. Sprinkle oatmeal on the work surface, roll the loaf in the oatmeal to coat. Place in the loaf pan, cover and let rise 15 minutes.
Bake 35 - 40 minutes until well risen and browned. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly in the pan, then turn out of the mold and cool on a wire rack.
