- 14 ozs Pappardelle noodles
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
- 2 cups canned Tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 cups canned navy bean (drained and rinsed)
- Chili flakes
- 1 ¾ cups Tuna (drained of oil)
- marjoram (to garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil and cook the pappardelle until al dente.
2.
Meanwhile, make the sauce: heat the oil in a pan. Cook the onions until translucent then add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
3.
Add the tomatoes, beans and chilli flakes. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the tuna and season to taste.
4.
Drain the pasta, adding a few tablespoonfuls of the pasta water to the sauce. Toss the pasta in the sauce, then arrange on pre-warmed plates and serve. Garnish with marjoram or other fresh herbs.
