1 Endive
150 grams Bacon (sliced)
1 Apple
1 Tbsp Maple syrup
3 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
4 Tbsps grapeseed oil

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and dry the watercress, then divide onto plates.

2.

Rinse and trim the endive, then divide into individual leaves. Place on top of the watercress.

3.

Cut the sliced bacon into thirds, then sauté in a hot pan. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4.

Rinse and quarter the apples. Remove the core, and cut into wedges. Cook in the rendered bacon fat until golden brown.

5.

Mix the syrup with the balsamic vinegar and oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper; Drizzle the dressing over the salad, then top with the bacon and apple slices.
