Preparation
Kitchen utensils
1 großer Pot mit Deckel, 1 mittelgroßer Pot mit Deckel, 1 Peeler, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Cutting board, 1 Slotted spoon, 1 Sieve, 3 Bowls, 1 Carving fork, 1 Ladle, 1 Grater
Preparation steps
1.
Place the lentils in a large pan and cover generously with stock. Add the garlic and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until the lentils are tender. Drain and set aside to cool.
2.
Heat the grill
3.
Combine the chilli flakes, onion, sweetcorn, coriander and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Add the cooked lentils and stir well to mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4.
Add the eggs to the mixture, mixing until thoroughly combined. If the mixture is too wet add more breadcrumbs to bring the mixture together.
5.
Shape the mixture into burgers with your hands. Brush both sides with oil.
6.
Place the burgers on the grill pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through, brushing with more oil if needed, to prevent them sticking.
7.
Place on a serving plate and garnish with coriander.
