200 grams green Beans
3 carrots
4 medium Sweet potato
1 sour Apple
1 Pear
2 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps

1.

Soak white beans overnight, then cover with 2 L (approximately 8 1/2 cups) fresh water and simmer with the bacon for about 1 hour.

Trim green beans, rinse, cut off ends and cut into small pieces.

3.

Peel the sweet potatoes and carrots, rinse and dice into small pieces.

4.

About 30 minutes before the end of cooking time for the beans, add the vegetables and continue cooking.

5.

Peel pear and apple and cut into quarters. Cut out cores, cut into wedges and immediately sprinkle with lemon juice. Add to the stew 10 minutes before the end of cooking time.

6.

To serve, cut the bacon into slices, return bacon to the pot and serve stew sprinkled with parsley.
