- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (scant)
- ¾ cup ground Hazelnuts
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- ⅘ cup Chocolate chip
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180° fan) 400°F gas 6. Line 2 large baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

Beat the butter and both sugars and brown sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
3.
Add the flour, hazelnuts and baking powder and quickly mix in. Fold in the chocolate chips.
4.
Spoon small mounds, apart on the baking trays, flatten slightly and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden. Cool on the trays for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
