1 Tbsp raisins
60 milliliters White vinegar
1 Tbsp honey
salt
1 pinch Chili powder
2 cloves
1 generous pinch ground allspice
freshly ground peppers
1 handful Arugula
6 slices white bread
2 Tbsps olive oil
1 garlic clove
40 Parmesan

Preparation steps

Peel the onions and cut into rings. Bring the onion, chopped raisins, vinegar, and 60 ml (approximately 1/4 cup) of water to a boil. Add the honey, salt, chili, cloves, and allspice. Let it boil over medium heat while stirring for about 20 minutes. Let cool and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven on the broiler setting. Rinse the arugula and spin dry. Cut the slices of bread in half and drizzle with the olive oil. Toast the bread under the broiler for about 5 minutes. Cut the garlic in half and rub the bread with it.

3.

Spread 1-2 tablespoons of the onion chutney on the toast and garnish with the arugula. Garnish with fresh parmesan.
