salt (to taste)
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
2 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and minced)
¼ cup fresh cilantro (rinsed and finely chopped)
2 Tbsps fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 fresh lemon (sliced)
For Couscous
1 pkg roasted garlic and olive oil Couscous (165 g | 5.5 oz)
1 cup water
1 tsp olive oil

Preparation steps

1.
Rinse chicken breasts under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. Place chicken between two sheets of plastic wrap and flatten slightly with a meat tenderizer. Season with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, combine onion powder, thyme, garlic, cilantro and lemon juice. Rub mixture over chicken and let sit for 10 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet set over medium-high heat; brown chicken for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for several minutes.

Brown lemon slices in the skillet.
5.
Meanwhile, in a large saucepan. combine couscous seasoning packet, water and olive oil. Bring to a boil and stir in couscous. Cover and remove from heat source; let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
6.
Slice chicken breasts and serve with couscous and garnish with lemon slices.
