300 grams Sweet potato (cooked)
1 tsp Starch
salt (and nutmeg)

Preparation steps

1.

Very finely grate the raw sweet potatoes into a bowl. Strain the resulting liquid into a measuring cup and set aside. Squeeze out excess moisture from the grated potatoes and mix into the cooked potatoes.

Season with salt and nutmeg. Skim the reserved potato liquid and mix with the cornstarch. Mix into the potato mixture. If the mixture is too wet, add breadcrumbs and let stand to soak up the moisture. Moisten your hands with cold water and form the mixture into smooth round dumplings. Place in boiling salted water and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
