Especially in summer it is not always easy for us to drink enough. However, this is very important because a lack of fluids makes us tired, makes our concentration worse and can cause headaches. Fresh strawberry iced tea, with its fruity taste, can help us to reach the recommended amount of fluids of about two litres per day, and is also low in calories.

Pay attention to the list of ingredients when buying the strawberry tea. They often contain many artificial flavours. However, there is also strawberry tea made from dried berries, which we recommend. Of course, you can also use other types of tea to your own taste as a basis for the iced tea recipe. Try a forest fruit tea or Oolong tea.

1 Cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons Vanilla

Preparation steps


Rinse the mint and remove the leaves. Add the tea bags, half of the mint, and the cinnamon to a pot. Pour 1 l (approximately 1 quart) of boiling water over the top, and stir in the vanilla sugar. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.


Rinse, trim, and halve the strawberries. Pass the tea through a fine strainer. Add the strawberries, lemon juice, and ice cubes. Garnish with the remaining mint, and serve cold.
