Dehydratio can make us tired, lower concentration and cause headaches. This fresh strawberry iced tea can help you easily reach your 2 liter a day recommended fluid allowance, and is low in calories as well.
You can easily replace the strawberries with blackberries or raspberries instead.
Rinse the mint and remove the leaves. Add the tea bags, half of the mint, and the cinnamon to a pot. Pour 1 l (approximately 1 quart) of boiling water over the top, and stir in the vanilla sugar. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Rinse, trim, and halve the strawberries. Pass the tea through a fine strainer. Add the strawberries, lemon juice, and ice cubes. Garnish with the remaining mint, and serve cold.
