- 300 grams Rutabaga
- 1 onion
- 200 grams fresh Spinach
- 200 grams Pearl barley
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 800 milliliters Vegetable broth
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ¼ tsp ground cilantro
- ½ tsp sweet ground paprika
- 150 grams Crème fraiche
- 4 Polish Sausage

Preparation steps

Peel the rutabega and onions, cut the rutabega into bite-sized pieces and dice the onion. Rinse and trim the spinach. Rinse the barley in a colander. Heat the oil in a saucepan, sauté the onions until soft, add the turnips and barley and pour in the broth.

Simmer about 15 minutes over low heat, then add spinach, crème fraîche and season with the spices. Slice the sausages, add to the stew and simmer 5-8 minutes until done. Serve hot.
