- 1 Avocado
- 9 ozs cream cheese
- 3 ½ ozs Whipped cream
- lemon juice
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 18 ozs Pumpkin (such as Hokkaido)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 4 slices Steak (each about 6-7 oz.)
- for garnish
- 2 Red chili peppers (sliced into rings)
- 2 Tbsps scallions (sliced into rings)
- 8 leaves Endive
Preparation steps

Peel the avocado, cut in half, remove the pit and mash the flesh finely with a fork. Stir in the cream cheese and sour cream and season with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spoon into a pastry bag fitted with a plain tip.

Thinly slice the pumpkin flesh, season with salt and pepper and cook in a grill pan with 1-2 tablespoons of oil on both sides for 6-8 minutes.

Rinse steaks and pat dry, season with salt and pepper and also cook in a grill pan with 1-2 tablespoons of oil for 4-8 minutes (depending on thickness and desired doneness).

Serve the steak with the pumpkin slices on plates and sprinkle with chile rings and scallion tops. Place the endive leaves on the plate and pipe with avocado cream.
