- 1 kilogram Spare rib
- Salt, freshly ground pepper
- 1 each onion and Garlic clove
- 3 tablespoons each olive oil, sherry and Soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons each orange juice and Tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice and Honey
- Chili powder
- 8 Chicken wings
- 8 Cocktail shrimp
Rinse the spareribs and pat dry. Simmer in boiling salted water for about 30 minutes.
Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté onion and garlic. Whisk together the remaining olive oil, sherry, lemon juice, orange juice, ketchup, honey and soy sauce. Season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Simmer for 3 minutes. Preheat the grill.
Rinse and the chicken wings and shrimp and pat dry. Remove spareribs from pot and pat dry. Cut ribs into portions.
Brush the wings, shrimp and ribs with about half of the barbecue sauce. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Over medium heat, grill the wings and ribs for 15-20 minutes, turning once. 5 minutes before wings and ribs are finished, place the shrimp on the grill, turning over when pink on one side. Serve the mixed grill with the remaining barbecue sauce.
