Spicy Chinese Tofu
Cut the tofu into 4 cm| 1 1/2" cubes.
Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, add the soy sauce and salt and cook for 1 minute, then add the chilli powder and cook for another 30 seconds.
Stir in the stock, add the tofu and simmer for 3 minutes.
Mix the cornflour with 1 tablespoon water and add the garlic. Add to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
Serve the tofu with a little sauce and sprinkle with Sichuan pepper.
