Nutritional values

Whole grain spaghetti and turkey bacon make a great duo. The blood sugar-stabilizing dietary fibres and muscle-building proteins make you wonderfully full. The cream also supplies proteins and supports the eyesight through its vitamin A.

If you have no idea what to do with the rest of the cream, try a cold cucumber soup with salmon. A balanced recipe that will also replenish your omega-3 fatty acid levels.

Cut the bacon into small strips. Fry in a pan with a little oil. Press garlic through a garlic press into the pan.

After draining spaghetti, immediately add to the pan with the bacon. Stir briefly, then pour into the bowl with the egg mixture. Toss to combine, adding 2-3 tablespoons of the cooking water. Serve immediately, sprinkled with the remaining Parmesan and parsley.
