400 grams Spaghetti
100 grams Bacon (in strips)
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 eggs
150 grams Whipped cream
1 garlic clove (chopped)
100 grams Parmesan
salt

Preparation steps

1.

Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to the package directions until al dente. 

2.

Mix the eggs with the cream and 50 g (approximately 2 ounces) of the parmesan cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 

3.

Heat the olive oil in a pan, and sauté the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Add the garlic to the pan, and sauté briefly. Add the spaghetti to the pan and toss to combine. Remove the pan from the heat, and mix in the egg- cream mixture. Toss until combined, then season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Transfer the spaghetti to plates, garnish with the remaining parmesan and the bacon, and serve.
