- 600 grams Whole wheat flour
- 250 milliliters lukewarm water
- 1 cube Yeast
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for greasing)
- 2 Tbsps Oats

Preparation steps
1.
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and stir until smooth.

Combine flour and salt in a mixing bowl, add yeast mixture and knead with a dough hook to form an elastic dough. Add more flour or water, if needed. Cover dough, set in a warm place and let rest for about 45 minutes.

Knead dough on a floured surface and shape into a loaf. Sprinkle oatmeal on work surface and roll loaf on oatmeal. Place loaf in a greased loaf ban. Cover and let rest 15 minutes more.
Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (approximately 390°F) for about 35-40 minutes. Remove, allow to cool slightly in the pan, then release from pan and leave to cool. Slice and serve with butter and jams, as desired.
