- 1 vegetable oil
- 2 Red onions (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
- 1 ¾ ozs Parmesan (grated)
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
- 1 Savoy cabbage (shredded)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and fry the onions slowly until lightly caramelised. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, let it bubble then remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the parmesan and parsley and set aside.
2.
Steam the cabbage until just tender then transfer to a warmed serving dish. Serve with the caramelised onions.
