- 500 grams Ground lamb
- 2 carrots
- 4 Tomatoes
- 3 shallots
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 150 grams grated Gouda
- parsley
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 pkg Mashed potatoes (Finished product)
- 1 Tbsp butter
Preparation steps

Peel and dice the carrot. Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water. Drain, remove the skin, remove seeds and cut into small pieces. Peel and chop the shallots. Heat oil in a pan, saute the carrots and shallots together for 2 minutes. Add the lamb and brown over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and saute for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the mashed potatoes according to package instructions.

Spoon the meat mixture into a greased baking dish. Evenly spread the mashed potatoes over the meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 220°C (approximately 425°F) for about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
