Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200C (180C fan) 400F, gas 6.
2.
Mix the fish fillets with the prawns. Season with salt and ground pepper and drizzle with lemon juice.
3.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut to the size of the pie dish plus lid. Butter the pie dish and line with the pastry, forming a rim.
4.
Melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Whisk in the cream using an egg whisk. Cook gently for 5 minutes, season with salt and pepper and stir in creme fraiche.
5.
Stir the fish and prawn mixture into the sauce, pour it into the pastry-lined dish and place the pastry lid on top. Fold in the rim. Make patterns on the lid with a fork and press the lid down onto the rim. Brush with the remaining butter and bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
6.
Divide into four portions to serve. Garnish with parsley.
7.
The fish pie may be served with green salad.
