4 T bone Steak cut 1-inch thick (about 350 g | 12 oz each)
cup good-quality olive oil
¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ cup fresh rosemary
1 bay leaf
freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
coarse salt (to taste)

Preparation steps

Rinse steaks under cold running water. Pat completely dry with paper towels

Combine oil, lemon juice, rosemary, bay leaf and black pepper in a large, shallow glass baking dish. Add steaks and turn to completely coat. Cover and chill for 6 hours.

Sent up grill for direct grilling and preheat grill to high heat. When ready to cook, oil the grill grate.

Remove steaks from marinade. Sprinkle steaks with salt to taste. Place on grill and grill to desired doneness, about 5 to 6 minutes per side for medium rare. Coarsely grind pepper over the steaks as they grill. Transfer steaks to a serving platter and let rest for 2 to 4 minutes. Serve.
