- 400 grams Pastry flour
- 5 eggs
- 50 milliliters olive oil
- 100 milliliters white wine
- 2 tsps Baking powder
- 2 Fennel bulb
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 Tbsp salt
- freshly ground peppers
- vegetable oil

Preparation steps
1.
Coarsely grind the fennel seeds.

Stir together the flour, eggs, olive oil, white wine, baking powder, salt and ground fennel seeds. Season with pepper to taste and knead into a smooth dough.

Rinse the fennel bulb, remove the leaves and chop finely. Dice the fennel bulb. Knead both into the dough.
4.
Grease a loaf pan with oil and place the dough inside. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 50-60 minutes. (If you notice the bread becoming too dark, cover with aluminum foil.) Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before releasing from the loaf pan. Cool completely on a wire rack.
