Sausage and Mash
Rinse the potatoes and boil for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel the carrots, leaving some greenery. Blanch in salted water for 4-5 minutes until al dente. Toss in 2 tablespoons of melted butter, season with salt, pepper and sugar and keep warm.
Fry the sausages in some oil on all sides for about 4 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and press through a ricer. Stir in the hot milk and remaining butter and season with salt.
Serve everything together in bowls or on plates.
