Preparation steps

Peel onion and garlic and grate finely. Cut cabanossi into thin slices. Peel, rinse and coarsely grate potatoes. Mix all ingredients with wheat flakes, eggs and sauerkraut. Season with salt, pepper and cumin powder. Rinse thyme, pluck off leaves and add to the mixture. Heat oil in a pan and add quarter of the mixture, cook for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown on both sides. Prepare three other pancakes in the same manner. Season double cream with salt and pepper. Peel red onions, chop finely and fold into double cream. Serve pancakes with the cream sauce.
