Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the chilis, remove the stems, and coarsely chop. Puree the chilis with the oil and salt until a thick paste has formed. 

2.

Heat the paste in a small saucepan. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until the oil settles on the surface. Place in a glass jar, seal tightly, and cool completely.
