- 1 ⅛ cups cream cheese (40% fat)
- 1 Tbsp Caper (drained and finely chopped)
- 12 Chives (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp parsley (finely chopped)
- lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 4 large potatoes (peeled)
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 ⅔ cups smoked Salmon (sliced)
- Chives (to garnish)

1 Baking sheet, 1 Bowl, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Plastic wrap, 1 Offset spatula
Preparation steps

Beat the cream cheese with the capers, chives, parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Boil the potatoes in a large pan of salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain well and let cool.

Grate the potatoes with a coarse grater, stir in the flour and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a wide skillet and gently fry spoonfuls of the potato mixture until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
5.
Serve the rostis with the herb cream cheese and smoked salmon, garnished with chives.
