- 600 grams Ground meat (pork)
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 centimeters fresh ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp five spice powder
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 400 grams Chinese Egg noodle
- 2 carrots
- 400 grams Napa cabbage
- 2 Tbsps Chile oil
- cilantro (for garnish)
Preparation steps
1.
Place the meat in a bowl. Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger, add to the meat along with the egg and the five-spice powder. Season with salt and pepper and form the mixture into small balls.

Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente.

Peel and shred the carrot peel. Rinse and roughly chop the cabbage. Place the carrots and cabbage in a steamer, cover and steam over boiling water for 6-8 minutes.

Heat the chili oil in a skillet and saute the meatballs until cooked through, 5-6 minutes.

Drain the pasta and serve with the vegetables and meatballs. If desired, drizzle with soy sauce to taste and garnish with cilantro leaves.
