1 ginger (4 cm piece, 1.5 inches)
1 kilogram jam sugar
1 packet Citric acid

Preparation steps

1.

Score plum skins with a knife and briefly blanch in hot water. Peel, cut in half and remove pit. Peel ginger and grate fine. Mix jam sugar, plums and ginger together, cover and infuse 6 hours.

2.

Bring mixture to a boil, stirring for three minutes. Add citric acid, mix and immediately pour into prepared jars. Close tightly.
