1 Tbsp grated Lemon peel
1 tsp cinnamon
200 grams Pine nuts
1 egg yolk

Preparation steps

1.

Mix eggs and sugar until creamy, add almonds, lemon peel and cinnamon and knead until dough is easy to shape.

2.

Form dough into large balls, dip in beaten egg, then press lightly into pine nuts and set in a lined baking tray.

3.

Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (approximatley 425°F) on the middle rack for about 10 minutes. Remove and serve.
