- colorful Hungarian wax pepper 500 grams (approximately 1 pound)
- ¼ l Wine vinegar
- ¼ l water
- 25 grams sugar
- 8 garlic cloves
- salt

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse the peppers and blanch in boiling salted water for 4 minutes, then remove and drain well.
2.
Peel the garlic, cut into strips and crush with the back of a knife. Place the garlic in a pot with the vinegar, water and sugar. Bring to a boil and pour over the peppers.
3.
Cover and let rest overnight.
Drain the peppers, saving the liquid. Bring the liquid to a boil again. Place the peppers in prepared jars, add the liquid and seal well.
