- 10 thyme
- 250 milliliters Wine vinegar
- 1 lemon
- 50 grams sugar
- 2 bay leaves

Preparation steps

Rinse and halve the peppers. Remove the seeds and membranes, quarter, and peel using a vegetable peeler. Peel and slice the garlic. Blanch the peppers in boiling salted water for 2-3 minutes, until al dente. Remove and drain. Mix in the capers, garlic, and thyme sprigs. Divide the mixture into the prepared jars.

Bring 250 ml (approximately 8 ounces) of water to a boil with the lemon zest, juice, vinegar, sugar, bay leaves, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Pour over the peppers until they're covered. Seal tightly, and let cool completely.
