- 2 Tbsps Sour cream
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 Bartlett pear
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 1 egg yolk
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps
1.
Halve pear, remove seeds, cut into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine sour cream and vanilla sugar.

Cut dough into quarters and roll each portion out into a disc. Spread vanilla cream over dough rounds, cover 1/2 of each round with pear slices, fold other 1/2 over to form a semicircle and press edges with a fork to seal.
3.
Brush hand pies with egg yolk, arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake until golden brown in a preheated oven at 220°C (approximately 425°F) for 15 minutes. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
