18 ozs jam sugar (2:1 ratio)
2 ozs chopped Walnut
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Preparation steps

1.

Briefly rinse the berries, and drain well. Peel and halve the pears, remove the seeds, and coarsely grate. Mix the berries, pear, and the jam sugar in a pot. Let stand for 2 hours.

Bring the berry mixture to a boil, and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Add the walnuts and lemon juice, and cook an additional 2 minutes.

3.

Fill the prepared jars to the brim with the jam, and seal tightly. Turn upside down to cool for 10 minutes, then turn right side up and cool completely.
