Ingredients

for 4 servings
1 Carrot
1 stalk Celery
1 Onion
1 Garlic clove
1 teaspoon chopped Thyme leaves
4 tablespoons Olive oil
250 grams mixed Ground meat
1 small jar peeled Tomatoes
3 tablespoons Tomato paste
400 grams Spaghetti
50 grams Ham (thinly sliced)
Salt
freshly ground Pepper

Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop carrot and celery. Peel and chop onion and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion and garlic until soft, add vegetables and saute briefly. Add ground meat and saute until crumbly, stirring. Season with thyme, salt and pepper. Add tomato paste and peeled tomatoes, simmer for about 30 minutes.

Cut ham into smaller pieces.

Cook spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, drain well and arrange on plates. Spread with sauce and sprinkle with ham. Serve.
