Pasta with Meat Sauce
Peel and finely chop carrot and celery. Peel onion and garlic, set aside some basil leaves for garnishing. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion and squeezed garlic for a few minutes, add the rest of vegetables and saute briefly. Add ground meat and saute until crumbly on high heat. Season with salt and pepper, add tomato paste and peeled tomatoes and simmer for about 30 minutes. Add basil and mix well.
Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente and drain. Combine with meat sauce and arrange on plates. Serve.
