- 7 ozs onions (finely chopped)
- 2 red Bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 ½ tsps salt
- 26 ozs lean stewing Beef (cubed)
- 1 pinch Caraway
- 1 ½ Tbsps Hungarian paprika
- Beef stock
- 35 ozs potatoes (peeled and diced)
- 5 ozs Tomatoes (quartered)
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
- To garnish

Preparation

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wok, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Paper towel
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 150°C (130° fan) 300°F gas 2.
2.
Heat the oil in a flameproof casserole dish and cook the onions, peppers, garlic and salt for 5 minutes until softened. Remove and set aside.
3.
Add the beef to the dish and brown on all sides.
4.
Add the onions, peppers and garlic to the dish with the caraway seeds and paprika. Add just enough stock to cover the contents of the dish. Cover and cook for 1 hour.
5.
Add the potatoes and cook for a further hour.
6.
Add the tomatoes to the dish and cook for a further 20-30 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and garnish with parsley sprigs.
