4 organic Oranges
200 grams Papaya (diced)
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Star anise
2 Cinnamon stick
800 grams jam sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the oranges in hot water. Thinly slice one orange. Halve the remaining orange and squeeze the juice.

Add 750 ml (approximately25 ounces) of water, the lemon juice, orange slices, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and sugar to a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook for 3-4 minutes stirring constantly. Add the papaya, and return to a boil.

3.

Remove the pan from the heat, and make sure it has gelled together. Fill the jelly into the prepared jars. Seal tightly, and turn upside down to cool briefly. Turn right side up, and make sure that the orange slices are evenly distributed before it sets.
