Preparation steps

1.

Peel the onions and cook in lightly salted water for about 15 minutes. Remove and drain. Cut a lid from the onions and scoop out the inside of the onion with a small spoon.

2.

Chop half of onion pulp. Clean mushrooms and cut into slices. Melt 2 tablespoons of the butter. Sweat the chopped onion until soft, add the mushrooms to the onions, add the ground meat and cook everything. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the cream and the finely chopped parsley.

3.

Place the mixture into the onions and put these in a greased baking dish. Pour in the broth and cover with aluminum foil. Simmer in a preheated oven (180°C, approximately 350°F) about 35 minutes.

4.

To serve, melt the remaining butter, brown the breadcrumbs and pour the mixture over the onions.
