- ½ cup soft butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 tsp ground Vanilla
- ⅔ cup flour
- 1 ⅞ cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 cup Chocolate chip (or dark couverture, chopped)

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cream the butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the egg and then the vanilla. Mix the flour, rolled oats and baking powder and stir in carefully. Fold in the chocolate chips (chopped couverture). Put the mixture in spoonfuls on the baking tray and flatten slightly. The biscuits should be about 5 cm in diameter. Leave about 5 cm between each biscuit. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes. Cool thoroughly before storing.
