The secondary plant substances from the strawberries score points as cell protectors; the red berries are also a good supplier of vitamin C and thus strengthen the immune system. With watermelon, plenty of potassium comes into play - the mineral has a gently draining effect by supporting kidney activity.

If the party fruit salad is served directly, you can also add chopped walnuts to the salad. The contained fats support the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins from the fruit and also keep heart and vessels healthy.
